Frequently Asked (and very good) Questions
Q1) Where do I find size information for each item?
For clothes, the size information is displayed on the same page as the item. If you select the item you’re interested in and then scroll down the page the measurements and size charts are shown in both inches and further down centimeters too. For other items, like bags, laptop cases, bottles etc, the dimensions are in the product description. Again, if you select the item you’re interested in, the dimensions are within the product description.
Q2) How do I find items in your shop quickly?
There are 3 main ways in which to find a product; By using the search bar on the Home Screen; By scrolling down on the Home Screen and seeing the product tabs, simply press the one you wish to look at; By using the product description/menu when you enter the shop. See the examples and screenshots below.
Do you have a search bar?
Yes, there’s a search bar on the Home Page. Simply type in what you wish to find and a number of items which best matches your description will pop up. Don’t be put off when the size charts appear next to clothing items. For some reason the search shows this image rather than the actual product. We’re working on changing that.
There’s also another way of finding what you’re after quickly. On a desktop, laptop device, when you enter the shop you will see some product words/menu on the left. Simply go to the item which best matches what you’re looking for and it will take you right to the items selected. The same occurs for mobile device, when in portrait mode, only the product words/menu is at the top. Simply swipe to the left to find the product that you’re after. See the examples below;
Q3) What’s an eco-friendly product?
Our eco-friendly products consist of items made of at least 70% organic or recycled materials, or such material blends. Currently, that includes, but is not limited to, organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, and organic, cotton/recycled polyester fabric blends.
Q4) How do you verify material content in your eco-products?
We collect valid certificates from our suppliers. As proof of the products organic composition, we accept either GOTS or OCS certificates. As proof of the products recycled composition, we accept either GRS or RCS certificates.
Q5) What is Organic Content Standard (OCS)?
This is a certification for non-food goods that confirms the organic material presence in the final product. It also follows the supply chain from its source to the final product.
Q6) What are Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)?
These are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled content and supply chain. The shared goal of the standards is to increase the use of recycled materials. The GRS includes additional criteria for social and environmental processing requirements and chemical restrictions.

Q8) Some of your products have ‘cut-out style’ in the product title/description. What does this mean? (see examples below)
To get the finished image, we use the background colour of the clothing item and don’t use embroidery to fill the gaps. So the actual embroidery is the stitching that defines the lines of the car/image. This works really well and makes the image stand out vividly. It also adds a unique effect that is very pleasing to the eye! There are numerous items of clothing using this type of image style creation. Take a look in our shop.
Q9) Do you have any other plans for Fuel the Passion/FTP brand?
Yes. Many things are in the planning. Late 2024 will see regular content on our Fuel the Passion Youtube channel, completing numerous roadtrips around the UK, Europe and other parts of the world. Exciting times! Not a lot on their yet, but there will be!
Q10) There’s a few variations of pricing for the same product type, such as T-Shirts - with different prices, why is this?
We try and keep our prices as low as we can and keep these under regular review, but with costs and inflation pressures, we have had to increase our prices a little recently. Price variation will vary depending on the number of prints and/or embroidery on each item. For example, with embroidery on a T-Shirt front and on both sleeves, this will cost more than a T-Shirt with only one embroidery area. It takes longer to make garments with multiple embroidery images, the alignment, processing and transferring of images to files which need to be processed then using numerous and varied colours, all add to pricing. I do have to say though, the benefit of embroidery is the quality and how long it lasts. It looks good wear after wear, wash after wash and my images in embroidery look ace!
